AHC hosts Tropical Paediatrics course

Participants from around the globe took part in AHC’s two-day Tropical Paediatrics course on June 21st and 22nd.
They had taken part in the Asian Clinical Tropical Medicine course at Mahidol University in Bangkok before visiting Siem Reap for AHC’s course. The ACTM is organised by the universities of Ottawa, Minnesota and Augusta and the students were doctors and nurse practitioners from North America, Europe, Thailand and Philippines.

This is the third time AHC has organised the Tropical Paediatrics course, which was delivered by our Khmer doctors. It comprised lectures and clinical case presentations and a visit to our Satellite Clinic, about 35 kilometres from Siem Reap. The money raised from the course helps to support hospital activities.

AHC is grateful to the medical department for taking time out of their busy schedules to teach this course, which received excellent feedback from the participants.

“Truly superb, top notch in every regard, and I do not give praise lightly,” was among the comments AHC received.
Thank you to all the participants and ACTM faculty for your support.
