Introduction

We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to join our developer team. You probably have at least 1 year of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer.

Most of the time, you will be working with the UI/UX design’s tasks by brainstorming the need of AHC’s web or mobile application with developers team at AHC to match with technical implementation, taking an active role in defining how the application looks, as well as how it works. Ideally, you should be able to demonstrate hands-on experience in using current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance optimization, accessibility, and usability.

Responsibilities

  • Participate as part of the team in application development life cycle and ensure projects are completed on a timely basis
  • Involve in application programming, integration, enhancement, testing, implementation
  • Create quality mockups and prototypes, ensuring high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
  • Develop and upkeep application documentations
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Turn UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs
  • Write reusable code and libraries (with matching documentation) to a standard which makes it quick and easy to maintain the code in the future
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to improve usability
  • Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies
  • Be flexible with the tasks which are assigned by supervisor or IT/Project manager

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Profound knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
  • Proficiency in JavaScript
  • Good knowledge of Laravel Framework
  • Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery
  • Good experience with UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system
  • A solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues, and ways to work around them
  • Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and Ajax
  • Significant experience of debugging using JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console
  • Basic knowledge of graphical tools such as Photoshop, so that you can make small changes to images
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Some exposure to full-stack development
  • A good understanding of SEO principles, so that you can ensure that our application adheres to such principles
  • Experience developing websites/applications using WordPress and Laravel Framework are desirable
  • A good understanding of PHP language and MySQL is desirable
  • A good knowledge and practical experience of testing tools like Webpack and Laravel Mix is desirable
