Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) is a non-profit organization providing free medical care to children in Siem Reap. AHC is looking for a highly motivated individual who can fill the currently vacant position of Oncology Clerk (1 post).

The successful applicant will be a person who is highly motivated to learn and further develop their skills working for a NGO non-profit hospital.

General Description

Oncology program is one of programs at Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC), which is non-profit organization in Siem Reap. It aims to provide free medical to children with cancer in Cambodia. Oncology program is established in 2013 in order to treat children with cancer. AHC now is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill position of Oncology Clerk.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with oncology core team at AHC (oncologists, nurse oncologists, oncology pharmacists, ophthalmologist, social workers)
  • Facilitate the work and cancer patient flow between oncology core team and departments
  • Do Oncology data registry and data entry
  • Organize weekly online conference with team in USA
  • Arrange cancer patient schedule for chemotherapy and other treatment
  • Follow up cancer patients in case of miss appointment or abandoned treatment
  • Arrange oncology team meeting monthly and do minute taking
  • Arrange patients to find suitable housing to stay if needed
  • Educate the patient’s drug information.
  • Assist oncology team to educate parents and patients
  • Join cancer patients counselling with the team
  • Committed to learn new things from the team and others


  • High school graduate or higher
  • Willing to learn and improve knowledge
  • Flexible working times
  • Ability to build good inter-personal relationships
  • Can speak English and Khmer (written / spoken / comprehension)
  • Computer literacy, MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point
  • Able to work in a team environment involving different departments and will be able to work in any units as required by hospital
  • Be enthusiastic and work hard at the hospital
  • Be honest and trustworthy
