AHC welcomes USAID delegates

usaid_ahcOn June 10, 2011 a delegation of international and local representatives from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) visited the hospital. USAID has generously been supporting the work of AHC’s HIV Clinic for several years and took this opportunity to tour the hospital, talk to some of the families and also to go out into the countryside with our HIV/HomeCare team and observe their follow-up activities.

AHC’s HIV Clinic provides counseling, testing, treatment and follow-up care. There are currently almost 600 Cambodian children diagnosed with HIV/AIDS enrolled in the clinic.

On behalf of kids and staff in Angkor Hospital for Children we would like to say thank you so much to USAID for continuing to support so far until now. The support will enable to continue with our goal of providing better health care for the many poor children in Cambodia.
