Patient Services

About

Since 1999, Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) has provided free high quality, compassionate medical care to over 2.5 million Cambodian children. AHC offers a wide range of the best specialty and critical services in Cambodia, as well as provide medical training to Cambodian healthcare professionals and rural community health education programmes.

To sustain our care and services, AHC has begun to implement a Patient Contribution Fee system starting from July 7th, 2022. Only for those who can afford it, there will be a contribution fee for the medical costs of our outpatient and inpatient services.

  • For outpatient services, the Patient Contribution Fee will be a fixed amount of $5.
  • For inpatient services, the Patient Contribution Fee will be a fixed amount of $5 per night.

There will be no impact on the quality of AHC’s clinical services. Whether patient families are able to
contribute or not, AHC will continue to provide the same high quality, compassionate medical care to all
Cambodia’s children.

AHC will continue to provide medical care to all patients, whether they are able to contribute or not. Please ask support from the Manager of the Social Work Unit.

Our doctors and nurses are professional healthcare workers dedicated to providing to best care and
service to all patients. Doctors do not receive any background information on patients, whether they can
contribute or not (except in certain cases).
