The Guardian: Asia’s hardest year for dengue fever – in pictures
“In peak season, we had seven times more cases of dengue fever than last year, and half of them needed to be hospitalised,” says Dr Ngoun Chanpheaktra, AHC Hospital Director. “Between June and August, we had 200 cases a week and 30% to 50% of the beds were occupied by patients with dengue fever complications.”

The Phnom Penh Post: Increase in dengue reported in Siem Reap
AHC has expressed its concerns over an increase in severe dengue cases in Siem Reap province. AHC admitted 265 children infected with the virus in the past two months alone, which is more than all of last year, according to an AHC statement issued on Friday.
