Angkor Hospital for Children is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and has developed a strong reputation for treating every child like they would treat their own, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
AHC has grown from a small hospital with just two beds in 1999 to a leading, well-established, paediatric healthcare organisation today, having provided over 2 million treatments to children from every one of Cambodia’s 25 provinces and building capacity in the healthcare workforce as one of only three paediatric training facilities in the country.
The organisations’ impact is felt far beyond the hospital walls, as we use what we have learned to develop best practices and innovative tools and resources to reach vulnerable populations and improve healthcare.

In addition to the specialty healthcare services offered by AHC, we offer primary healthcare services to children across Cambodia. AHC’s holistic, compassionate model of healthcare puts the focus on the needs of our patients and their family.
Illness prevention and Impact beyond our walls
Many children treated at AHC present with preventable illnesses that go unaddressed due to a lack of knowledge or a lack of healthcare services in their community.
To counter this, AHC is working directly with rural and remote communities to improve health literacy, as well as access to quality healthcare services.
