A Buddhist religious event, Bon Phka Prak Mohasamaky, involves raising funds and donations from community members. Local communities then use these funds to construct pagodas, roads, ponds, schools, and hospitals.
In recognition of the parallel purpose of celebrating Bon Phka Prak Ceremony and saving children’s lives, we combine Bon Phka Prak with hospital fundraising activities.
The main event is supported by Samdach Pin Sem, the chief monk at Wat Bo Siem Reap since 2013. The annual Bon Phka Prak event takes place in June.
