Compassionate healthcare and purposeful innovation for Cambodia’s children

Beyond Our Walls

AHC builds capacity in Cambodia’s healthcare system that extends beyond our own walls.

In order to improve lives and healthcare outcomes across Cambodia, AHC is working to replicate our most impactful programmes, improve health literacy in communities, and educate healthcare professionals nationally. Capacity building beyond our walls allows us to advance paediatric healthcare, improve outcomes and save lives – in the community, across the country and beyond.

How AHC is making an impact:

From teaching nursing students to training junior doctors in specific paediatric specialisations, AHC’s education programme targets health professionals at every level.

Our Impact Through Education ›

A lack of health services and health education outside of Cambodia’s cities means children in rural areas are at higher risk of illness. AHC is working to change this.

Our Impact on the Community ›

The review and evaluation of AHC’s current practices and core activities has positioned our organisation as a role model for healthcare institutions across Cambodia.

Our Impact on Healthcare ›

Through the data that we collect, analyse and share, AHC is strengthening Cambodia’s healthcare system, publishing research, and contributing to the formulation of medical guidelines and policy.
