Introduction

Angkor Hospital for Children Angkor (AHC) is a non-profit paediatric teaching hospital providing high-quality compassionate health care to children in Cambodia. Working in cooperation with the Cambodian Ministry of Health, AHC’s mission is to improve the healthcare system on a national level so that every child in Cambodia, wherever they live and whatever their ability to pay, has access to the quality health care they deserve. AHC has provided life-saving treatment to nearly 3 million children since our establishment in 1999.

AHC partners with Cambodian Ministry of Health as well as other relevant government institutions, plus various local businesses and organisations to increase national awareness of AHC’s work and services, and to seek assistance in raising much-needed funds to support the hospital. Funds raised from partnership activities support the general operations of the hospital and help ensure that children in Cambodia continue to receive free, high-quality and compassionate care when they need it most.

In order to have enough funds to run the hospital and achieve our fundraising targets, we’re creating a new Senior Fundraising Officer position, based in Phnom Penh, to manage our public relations and fundraising activities in Phnom Penh and surrounding areas.

AHC has a zero-tolerance towards child abuse, sexual exploitation and abuse and sexual harassment.
