Vision for tomorrow: funding the future of children’s eye care in Cambodia
At AHC, we envision a future where no child in Cambodia is denied the eye care they need due to the lack of resources. To bring this vision to life, we aim to establish a dedicated Paediatric Ophthalmology Centre that will provide high-quality, specialised eye care to children from across the country.
With more than 42,000 eye surgeries performed and 200,000 children treated for eye-related issues since 2002, AHC is the leading centre of paediatric eye clinic in the region.
However, as the only specialised facility of its kind, the demand for our high-quality, compassionate eye care services continues to significantly outpace our current capacity. We are looking to help more children.

AHC is establishing a new National Hub for Paediatric Ophthalmology to meet the rising demand for specialised eye care in Cambodia. Currently, limited resources force us to turn away nearly half of our patients. By investing in modern infrastructure and staffing, this new facility will bridge the service gap, providing free, high-quality surgical and clinical care to thousands of children across the country uninterrupted.
