Run the Angkor Wat Half Marathon for AHC

On Sunday, 6 December 2026, thousands of runners will line up at sunrise in front of Angkor Wat. Some will chase their personal best. Some will walk with their families. Some will run for the first time in their lives. And a growing number will run for something bigger: the children of Cambodia.

This year, we are inviting you to join them. Run the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon, raise funds for AHC, and turn your morning on the course into care for a child who needs it.

The race facts

The Angkor Wat International Half Marathon has been part of Cambodia's calendar since 1996, when around 300 runners took part. In 2025, it welcomed a record 16,000 runners from 87 countries. Choose from four distances (3 km, 5 km, 10 km, or the full 21 km), all set in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The course is flat and tree-lined, and it takes you past fourteen ancient temples. It is no surprise that it sits on so many runners' bucket lists.

Why we need you

People like you fund AHC. Every dollar a runner raises helps us care for children who arrive with illnesses, injuries, and emergencies, and helps us be there for the next child, too.

The runners who came before you

The Angkor Wat Half Marathon already has a proud history of changing children’s lives, and you would be joining it.

In 2024, runners from Manulife, the race’s exclusive sponsor, led a fundraising campaign for AHC and raised USD 110,000 to support our Trauma and Critical Care Centre, where severely injured or seriously ill children receive immediate, life-saving care. Since 2015, Manulife and its runners have raised more than USD 760,000 for the hospital. That is what happens when people decide that a race can be about more than a finish line.

Closer to home, our own Oncology Ward was last year’s top fundraiser. The team raised nearly USD 11,000 from the 2025 Angkor Wat International Half Marathon, a reminder of what a ward full of people can do when they run together.
