Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) is seeking a highly motivated Cambodian individual to fill the currently vacant position of Cashier (01 position).
AHC has a zero-tolerance policy towards Child Abuse, Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA), and Sexual Harassment (SH).
Main Responsibilities
- Accurately process transactions in the POS system, including issuing and voiding invoices, receiving payments, and processing cash refunds.
- Reconcile cash funds at the start of each shift to ensure balances are correct and sufficient.
- Receive and process payments by cash and other payment methods, ensuring correct amounts, valid banknotes, and appropriate supporting documentation.
- Perform cash counts at the end of each shift and reconcile against POS records to confirm accurate cash balances, then hand over cash to the designated team members.
- Work shifts according to the schedule assigned by management.
- Communicate effectively with customers by answering enquiries and providing relevant information clearly and professionally.
Required Skills and Experience
- Completion of at least three years of an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of one year’s relevant experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
- Close attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to learn and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
